Manu Luksch, bekend van onder meer haar cctv-film Faceless, komt met een nieuw project waarin de manier waarop kinderen gebruik maken van de openbare ruimte centraal staat.
blue-sky blueprint / Architekturbüro LichtPause is looking at the potential of ‘the local street’ and urban space as learning environment. The project is exploring how children experience the street, and how they appropriate space for purpose of play. In September, we will run workshops for children to create paper models of their imagination of an improved built environment, and to record their stories of temporary use of the street as audio pieces. The paper models will be rendered as CAD models and integrated in a 3D architectural view of the ‘kids’ masterplan’ for West Bromwich (UK) and Steiermark (Austria).
